Since then, it has striven to extend its services to meet many more testing and type approval requirements on the IC card related industry. The following services are performed by the Tokyo Smart Card Laboratory: EMV Level 1 and Level 2 Approval Testing, EMV Dbug Testing, Visa IC Cards Testing (EMV Level 1, contactless interface testing, VSDC application, VSDC applet, Visa GlobalPlatform testing) and JCB IC Cards testing. Other services around IC cards and security are offered in coorperation with other departments or in cooperation with third parties like IC card risk testing and PIN entry device testing.
